Including your app version (Settings, at the bottom) and device model usually saves a round trip.

Getting started

  1. 1

    Set up your passport

Enter your nationality and expiry date. That is the whole setup — there is no account to create.

  2. 2

    Check a trip

Trip Check → pick a destination and your travel dates. You get passport validity, the six-month rule and the visa category in one answer.

  3. 3

    Add your travel documents

Documents → Add. Visas, ETIAS, Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, NEXUS, insurance, driving permits — each gets its own reminder schedule.

  4. 4

    Track Schengen days

Schengen → log your past trips. You then see your remaining days on any date, and can test a planned trip before booking it.

  5. 5

    Turn on renewal alerts

Allow notifications when asked. Reminders are scheduled on your device; nothing is sent from a server.

Common issues

Notifications are not arriving.

Check notifications are allowed for Resoo in system Settings. Delivery also depends on the operating system — battery optimisation, Low Power Mode and Focus modes can delay or suppress reminders. Treat them as a helpful nudge, not a guarantee.

The app says “Requirements unknown” for my destination.

We do not yet have a rule for that passport-and-destination combination. Check with the destination’s embassy, and please report it below so we can add it.

My iCloud backup says it is paused.

Resoo backs up to your own iCloud, and iCloud can be switched off per app. Check Settings → your name → iCloud and confirm Resoo is enabled. The app reports the real backup state rather than assuming it worked.

The app is in the wrong language.

Resoo follows your device language by default. To override it: Settings → App language.

The app crashed or a screen will not load.

Force-quit and reopen first. If it persists, email us with your app version (Settings, at the bottom) and device model.

Questions

How do I cancel my subscription? +

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. On iPhone: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Resoo → Cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. On Android, cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.

I already paid, but the app is asking me to subscribe. +

Tap Restore on the subscription screen. That re-checks your Apple Account. This is the normal path after reinstalling or moving to a new device.

How do I get a refund? +

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies and we cannot issue them. Use Apple’s “Report a Problem” page.

Why does Resoo say my passport may not be accepted when it has not expired? +

Many countries require your passport to stay valid for six months beyond your arrival date. You can be refused entry, or denied boarding, while your passport is still technically valid. Resoo shows the date it stops being accepted, not just the expiry date.

Does Resoo work without a connection? +

Yes. Entry rules are bundled inside the app, so trip checks work offline. Only these legal pages and rule updates need a connection.

What do you do with my passport details? +

Your expiry date, documents and trips stay on your device and are backed up only to your own iCloud. The one thing sent to us is your passport’s two-letter nationality code, used to fetch the visa rules for that passport. We never ask for your passport number and there is no field to enter one. Full detail in the Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my data? +

Settings → Clear all data. That removes your passport, documents, trips and settings from the device and from your iCloud backup. Resoo has no accounts, so there is no server-side profile to delete.

Do I need an account? +

No. Resoo has no login, no password and no sign-up. Your data lives on your device.

Which languages does Resoo support? +

Twelve: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Simplified Chinese and Japanese.

How accurate is the visa data? +

Resoo bundles 44,000+ entry rules covering 199 nationalities and 227 destinations. Entry rules change often and are ultimately decided by border officials and airline staff. Resoo is not legal, immigration or travel advice, and not a guarantee of entry — always confirm with the official embassy, consulate or government source for your destination.

Report a data problem

Found an entry rule that looks wrong? Email support@resoo.app with your passport nationality, the destination, what Resoo showed, and what the official source says. Corrections feed straight back into the data set.
